| Tradesman | Essential: 1. I.T.I Trade Certificate in Mechanic/Diesel/Fitter/Turner/ Welder/Electrician/ Instrumental/Carpentary 2. X/10th Std pass or equivalent 3. 2 years experience in Engineering/Automobile/Ship Repair organization. Desirable: 1. Experience in FRP Lamination and repair work (Fiber class Re-enforce plastic) 2. First aid/ Fire Fighting/Industrial Safety Course. |
| Seaman | Essential: 1. X/10th Std pass or equivalent. 2. Three years experience in sea going mechanized vessel with two years in helmsman and seamanship work. Desirable: 1. The Marine Mercantile Department awarded a certificate of competency as a “member of fishing vessel.” |
| Greaser | Essential: 1. X/10th Std pass or equivalent. 2. Three years experience in sea going mechanized vessel on main and auxiliary machinery maintenance. Desirable: 1. Certificate of competency as “Engine Driver of fishing vessel” issued by Marine Mercantile Department. |
